The phenotyping center has five service groups, including cardiovascular, metabolism, neuroscience, bio-imaging, and pathology groups, and is co-managed by the project principle investigator, the core director and the laboratory manager under the help of advisory and user committees. We will have up to three assistant directors to help the core director set up the workflow, monitor the function of each group, interpret the experimental results, and handle other administrative events. To maintain high quality of service, the phenotyping center also invites several experts in the related research fields to serve as co-PIs, who will provide training of staff scientists and evaluate the quality of service jobs. Interaction between the center and laboratories of co-PIs can update our service concept and techniques in dealing with various mouse models of human diseases. The organization structure of Taiwan Mouse Clinic is depicted as follows.
